Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how BakeryOS handles subscription charges, cancellations, and refund requests. We aim to be fair and transparent — if something goes wrong with your billing, we will work with you to resolve it.

1 Trial period

BakeryOS offers a free demo or trial period so you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid subscription. During the trial, all core features are accessible with no payment required.

What the trial covers

Order management, inventory tracking, billing, and customer records are all available during your trial. No credit card is required to start. You are only charged when you choose a paid plan after the trial ends.

2 Subscription charges

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly or annually — based on the plan you select. The amount and billing date are shown clearly before you confirm payment. Pricing is in Indian Rupees (INR) and subject to applicable GST.

  • Monthly plans — charged on the same date each month from your subscription start date.
  • Annual plans — charged once per year at the annual rate, which offers a discount versus monthly billing.
  • Renewals — subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.

3 Refund eligibility

BakeryOS subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, as you have full access to the platform from the moment payment is processed. However, refunds are issued in the following specific situations:

  • Duplicate charge — if you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
  • Erroneous charge — if our system charged you an incorrect amount that does not match the plan you selected, the difference will be corrected.
  • Platform unavailability — if BakeryOS experiences a verified outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours during a billing period, a pro-rated credit or refund may be issued at our discretion.
  • Legally required refunds — where Indian consumer protection law or payment regulations require a refund, we comply fully.
Not eligible for refund

Charges for completed billing periods where the platform was accessible and functional, charges resulting from auto-renewal where cancellation was not completed before the renewal date, and charges for plans selected in error by the subscriber are not eligible for refund under standard policy.

4 Cancellation

You can cancel your BakeryOS subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Here is how cancellation works:

  • When to cancel — cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following period. The exact renewal date is visible in your account billing section.
  • Access after cancellation — your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period. You will not be charged again after that date.
  • Data retention — your bakery data (orders, customers, inventory records) is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export it during this window.
How to cancel

Go to Account → Billing → Cancel subscription, or email support@inkurban.in with your registered email address. We will confirm cancellation within one business day.

5 Processing timelines

When a refund is approved, the timeline for the amount to appear in your account depends on your payment method and bank:

  • UPI / Net Banking — typically 3–5 business days.
  • Credit / Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay) — typically 5–10 business days.
  • Razorpay wallet — typically 1–3 business days.

You will receive an email confirmation when a refund is initiated. If the amount has not appeared after 10 business days, contact your bank with the refund reference number we provide.

6 Disputes & chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We resolve billing queries within 2 business days and can usually correct issues faster than the chargeback process allows.

Chargebacks raised without first contacting support — where the charge is found to be valid — may result in temporary suspension of your account during the investigation period. We cooperate fully with payment processors and banks to provide transaction evidence.

7 Policy changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of BakeryOS after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
